Brett K. Harris is a Nevada native who graduated from Las Vegas Academy, one of only seventeen high schools in the country to receive recognition as both a New American High School and Blue Ribbon School from the U.S. Department of Education. Brett went on to obtain her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in politics from New York University.

at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association and graduated in 2011. During law school, she completed externships for the American Civil Liberties Union, Clark County Public Defender’s Office, and she represented juvenile delinquents as a student attorney This experience gave her a fierce commitment to advocacy and putting client interests first.

After law school, Brett served as a seasonal recruiter for the law school before becoming a defense attorney for the AV-rated firm of Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen, and Sanders. After a year, she switched from defense to plaintiffs’ work, which she practiced until joining Ideal Business Partners. Brett is licensed in all courts having jurisdiction in Nevada, including the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

When she’s not practicing law, Brett spends her time at home with her husband, Matthew Hagerty, and catering to her aging fur-child, Dolce. She also enjoys exercise, the arts, exceptional television, and hosting her political podcast "Polichicks" with her friend Alison.
